The Shiba Inu team is preparing to relaunch its Layer-2 network, Shibarium, with new enhancements and features after facing initial challenges. In a recent blog post, the developer known as Shytoshi Kusama stated that the network has undergone testing and parameter tweaking to reach a “ready” state.
Kusama mentioned that Shibarium is now optimized and producing blocks, with the addition of a new monitoring system and fail safes to handle high levels of traffic. These measures include rate limiting at the RPC level and an automatic server reset mechanism.
As a result, the network is close to being reopened to the public. Shibarium’s relaunch comes after experiencing difficulties in its initial rollout.
The team aims to implement ShibPaper, a governance and management system, to establish a working infrastructure. With these improvements, the Shiba Inu team hopes to provide a more efficient and robust network that can cater to increased user demand and traffic.
