Ray Youssef, the CEO of Paxful, has made a bold statement on Sunday Night claiming that 99.9% of Bitcoin influencers are fake and would be working in service positions without Bitcoin.
Ray quoted: “99.9% of #Bitcoin influencers are fake. Without bitcoin they would be waiting tables.”
According to Youssef, even with Bitcoin, these influencers engage in the promotion and manipulation of “shitcoins.” He believes that their excessive noise hinders progress in the crypto space, suggesting that only a select few truly make a significant impact.
While Youssef’s comments may be viewed as controversial and subjective, they highlight a skepticism towards the authenticity and motives of many Bitcoin influencers, and emphasize the importance of discernment in the industry.
