Crypto influencer CryptoRover took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and explained why it is not the best time to invest in altcoins.
According to him, the market volume for altcoins is decreasing, with venture capitalists (VCs) showing little interest in investing in them. Retail investors are also scarce and low on funds, with most of them focusing on Bitcoin rather than altcoins.
He said” The market volume is drying up, and VC’s aren’t investing in altcoins.”
The main developments in the crypto space are centered around a Spot Bitcoin ETF, further emphasizing the attention on Bitcoin. Typically, interest in altcoins resurges when Bitcoin surpasses its previous all-time high, which was $69,000.
Crypto Rover’s strategy is to invest in Bitcoin now and switch to altcoins when the time is right.
