The popular digital currency, Shiba Inu (SHIB), has marked another significant achievement with its recently launched blockchain solution, Shibarium, surpassing one million blocks.
ShibariumScan confirmed the milestone, indicating a rising demand for scalable features within the blockchain solution.
Just a few weeks prior, the Layer-2 network reached another peak with over three million transactions, and wallet addresses are now nearing the 1.3 million mark.
Launched at the end of August, Shibarium aims to position Shiba Inu (SHIB) as a leader in the realm of memecoins by enhancing transaction speed and reducing fees.
Some analysts, including the pseudonymous Twitter user “Shib Informer,” predict that further advancements in Shibarium could contribute to an increase in Shiba Inu’s valuation.
Despite the recent achievement, Shiba Inu’s asset value has declined by 4% on October 9, mirroring a general downturn in the cryptocurrency market.
