Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong emphasized the importance of political engagement for the crypto industry on Thursday, stating that some political figures might face electoral consequences based on their stance on crypto space in the upcoming 2024 elections.
He said “In 2024 some people need to win or lose an election because of their stance on crypto.”
He criticized the Biden Administration, expressing his view that their policies have been detrimental to the crypto space and investors.
Armstrong also announced a $1 million donation to a cryptocurrency-focused Super PAC during his panel at Mainnet2023.
