Solana’s Saga phone ???????? is finally here! We had the privilege of testing out the Saga phone ahead of its launch, and here’s what we thought:
???? The Saga phone comes packaged in a sleek black box along with a USB-C charging cable and a physical seed phrase paper card.
???? The phone runs on Android 13 and boasts a 6.67-inch OLED display and a whopping 512GB of storage.
???? Saga’s 4011 mAh battery lasted us about 1.5 days when used as a work phone. Not bad, right?
???? One of Saga’s standout features is its built-in mobile wallet adapter, part of the Solana Mobile Stack (SMS).
???? The phone also includes Seed Vault, a web3-focused feature that lets you import seed phrases from other wallets or create new ones.
What We Liked?
????Saga owners get $20 worth of USDC and 0.01 SOL – that’s 0.0026 of a dollar! It’s not much, but hey, it’s a start! The dApp Store is currently offering rewards to Saga owners, including an airdropped Saga genesis token, an NFT that provides access to rewards offered by dApps.
What We Didn’t Like?
????The phone was sometimes slow, and the crypto wallet and NFT minting platform kept freezing. We found ourselves having to close and reopen dApps several times, and even had some trouble unlocking the screen or ordering an Uber.
Is Twitter creating a degen app?
In a major announcement, Twitter has teamed up with eToro to create a new initiative that will expand users’ access to market data and investment options. The collaboration will allow users to view market charts and buy and sell stocks and other assets from the social trading company. ????????
But wait, there’s more! ???? Twitter users were already able to view real-time trading data from markets-charting platform TradingView, but now, they can click through to eToro’s platform for even more investment opportunities. ????

Privacy concerns arise for Ethereum stakers
A recent revelation from a researcher at the Ethereum Foundation has raised concerns about privacy for Ether stakers. In an interview with the crypto podcast Bankless, Justin Drake revealed ????????????️♂️ that the IP addresses of stakers are being monitored as part of a larger set of metadata tracking.
Drake explained that the metadata is used to track deposit and withdrawal addresses, fee recipients, and IP addresses ????????. This information can potentially be used to identify individual solo stakers, which could have implications for future airdrops and rewards.
