In response, accounts focused on XRP and Dogecoin, and requested to be paid in their favorite cryptocurrencies. Meanwhile, Musk denied rumors of launching an “X token” and clarified that fiat money is currently used for creator payments.
Contrary to media reports, Musk has no plans to introduce an internal trading service for stocks and cryptocurrencies on X. Despite rebranding Twitter as X and offering new features for content creators, integrating Dogecoin for payments has not yet been realized. However, Musk has announced that X will not retain any percentage of creator rewards until the payouts exceed $100,000.
